So then, you must be against the government maintaining databases compiled through background checks, registration, and stuff like that ehh... er no? Not long ago Tutsi tribe members were required to register their address with the Hutu government so the government could maintain a database. That database was used to locate millions of Tutsi for slaughter at the hands of the Hutu.
