Sonny:

Do you follow the Big Kahuna. Bill over there seems reasonable and is predicting a DOW at 7300 this month. So much for the end of the year rally. He is predicting much better things after that however. He also says that his predictions are not perfect, but that he has almost always been right recently. Well, another 10 percent could pretty much do me in. With LEAPs that translates into a much steeper decline percentage-wise. His analysis is based upon changes in the OEX option trends. Who knows. The Asian crisis is settling down for the moment, at least in terms of their markets. Our economy seems intact. I suspect that yesterday's sell off was tax losses. However, I do not see a year end rally this year, certainly not in the techs. If the techs take another 10 percent hit, they are unlikely to recover to previous levels until well into next year.

Best regards

Clinton
