Weakening against which currency? It hasn't proven to weaken against other currencies so far as their is equal if not greater pressure on other currencies. It certainly hasn't increased inflationary pressures which is the reasoning behind why it would weaken the US currency. 4 years of QE hasn't weakened the US dollar however we have gold weaker and gold producers at 4 year lows. The weaker the world economy has gotten the more reason to own the US dollar. That's what the last 4 years has proven.
