Interesting,

When I was a service rep for GM in Chicago,the extreme cold always brought in vehicles on the wrecker.

Here in Houston it will pick up next month as the heat reaches extremes.People put off a poorly working AC unit until it gets hot.That's when weak head gaskets and slipping transmission give out too!
Extreme hot or cols is not the friend of any equipment.
