Watch what happens when they start yakking about the tax rev lost due to those who use cap gains from equities to offset cap losses from homes. Put a number to what you think has been lost. What could be offset and what that will do to tax revs not received. There are MANY reasons for a pause.

And as I try to say, if we lived in a static environment then things would be better. BUT we do not whether it be re the USA or the world.
