The yield with EGO is simply a bonus. I like their growth profile over NEM's. Not a total knock against NEM but I think the underlying fundamentals favor EGO at this stage.

NEM is almost 4 times the size of EGO, so you get some safety with that. Their cash flow per share is excellent. I believe their debt load is substantially larger, too.

Price to book favored EGO, at 1 vs 1.4 (if I remember correctly off the top of my head).

One last factor in the NEM vs EGO debate was that EGO had dropped nearly twice as hard as NEM had since April 1st. Not always a good reason to buy, I will assure you.

Whether or not that translates into less downside from here is debatable, to say the least!!

EDIT now that we have bought...doesn't that "declare a bottom"? LOL
