Just because racists demand papers from foreign-looking people doesn't mean we should just do away with documentation.

Hmmmmmm........why is it the 'foreign looking' people always look Latino or Muslim? BTW in a multi cultural, multi racial society how did YOU decide who looks foreign?

>It's all part of being looked at with suspicion.

No, it's not. In the last 200 years (and mostly much more recent, some even now), having a different skin color has justified enslavement, imprisonment, denial or employment, and some of the most brutal killings I've ever heard of. Just look up Emmett Till. Tell me what you think happened there.

>Like I said, get over it. If you're a naturalized citizen, you already have the documentation.

Somewhere. But once you're a citizen in this country, you're a citizen. It's just as OK to lose your documentation if you moved here and got your citizenship than if you were born here. It happens.

It at least it means you need beyond a damn good reason for that documentation... and you've got jack.
