Zincman,

The first thing I know about Armstrong is that he is an TA guy. And the gold doesn't fit TA explanations.

Second - he said, "Gold is no different from any other market". IMHO, it is not the case.

Gold is not like copper (look at the copper action today - barely moves). Gold is used in jewelry, it could be used as currency, it has emotional attachment and traditional value. Its' not even like silver. Silver is perishable to a degree. Gold has this patina of eternity.

The skeleton of gold standard scares banksters, so they fight it as their main enemy. They are wrong, gold could be used to their advantage, but they are also slaves of herd mentality, just on different level.

Thank you for your thoughts. We have different perspectives, but it helps rather than hurts.
