Social Security is FULLY FUNDED by my contributions and your contributions and every other person's contributions over the years. The ONLY reason it's in jeopardy in the next 20 years or so is that the GOVERNMENT has just stolen that money to use for whatever they want rather than keeping it in a separate fund for retirees. If the Social Security money had just been put into government bonds since the inception of the program it would be funded for FOREVER right now.
