ASND and CNTR

Yes, I will post if CNTR is a sell, although Monday I am out of the office for awhile, so don't count on me that day. hang Seng is up nicely right now, so hopefully the week will end up and take some of the small caps with it. At any rate I am looking for an up morning.

As for the rumors, thats pretty hard for me to guess right now. With so many big takeovers/mergers/buyouts and everyone wanting to have the biggest pipeline or fastest route or most services, etc. it could well be true. ASND is worth watching, and there might well be a selloff in the morning, but I expect with the volume that one generates that a rebound is almost a sure thing - at least for a few hours. And if it does the price generally runs back up to 75% of its open if it gaps and then drops off.

We are seeing a huge change in the complexity of the intermarket associations now. I'm watching the ones that are at low points to figure oiut who may be interested in accumulating/merging with them. Rumors abound and most are worthless, except for the few hours that they are 'news'. And from what I have been seeing, the initial exuberance in the buying is quickly dissipated. Hard to play right now and harder to pick a winner that will last more than a few days. Thats one of the reasons I'm eyeing Netscape right now - its in an acquisition mode and there is still some pocket change there to buy a couple of more 200 million companies...which ones is the question.
