The only way congress can work is if it truly represents the American people. The American people aren't WAY left or WAY right, but congress has become so polarized that it doesn't really represent the 60% of the American people in the center any more. It used to be that you had screwballs way on the left and screwballs way on the right in congress, but the MAJORITY was somewhere in the middle, like the American people. Today, the only people able to win a primary are SCREWBALLS, regardless of party.
