re--To try and silence one side of the debate
by having people removed or forcing people to start new threads really
would hurt this thread/investors in the long run

Yes it would...but would you classify this thread as being constructive? I am one of these investors and I'm not getting the useful information as several months ago - in fact I have to credit your prediction several months back on the extent of AMD's yield problems and that warning actually stopped me from investing more in AMD in the 40's - (don't get too cocky :)) - though I have recently again because I think they are now better and this low stock price is more in reaction to the semis in general.

The bickering that goes on now is destructive (from BOTH sides)

YES - DO PROPER ANALYSIS...but on relevant issues and don't spout off emotionally....all that does is cause the other person to react emotionally and I've seen a lot more posts from the Intel group designed to do just that.
My suggestion of another thread is an extension of my frustation with this whole thing...numerous posts have been done to put things back on track but nothing comes of it.

My last suggestion (which I know stands a snowball's chance in hell of being listened to) is for everyone to START FRESH. Forget about previous posts and snubs and act like we are all concerned about our investment and posting for the first time to people we do not know.

Or as the sage of our times said..."Can't we all just get along"
<G>

ps -I'm not really idealistic...I just look at the glass half full

I do have one question for - do you consider AMD a good price now to buy into (19-21 range)? If we have hit the bottom of the barrel so to speak in terms of yields then should not a couple of qtrs put this stock back on track?
