Hello,

Concerning igc.org seems like a lot of unhappy
employees are filing lawsuits don't you think. These type law suits
shouldn't be taken lightly. I find that companys that mistreat thier employees (if its true don't do well).

Just my opinion,
Merlo

humble carl and all: S&P report recommends INTC to 5-star

I will try to summarize the Dec 97 S&P Investor's monthly Dec 1997. I could not get a link for this.

INTC is up 25% from beg. of 97 and down 22% from peak. INTC 1997 results reflect product transitions to Pentium II. During this transition, INTC suffered competition from AMD & CYRX who suffered losses in Sep 97, calling into question to sucessfully compete against the mkt. leader INTC. INTC sequential rev. growth likely will remain lackluster until mid 1998. INTC's solid record of execution and dominant mkt. position will enable it to capitalize on the forcasted 25% PC and server unit sales growth. See 1998 earning per share improving strongly to $ 4.75 from S&P 1997 projection of $ 3.78.
In the light of their superior long-term potential, the shares ( INTC,80, Nasdaq *****; Quality rating: B+), at 17 times est. 1998 earnings, are attractive for purchase.
