Brian, On AMD yields. Amd is still fustrated on acheiving better yield on the higher speed chips. There having to buring alot of disks to get the yeilds ther able to achive. umfortunatly more wind up in the scrap pile. It may be the direct result of the complexity of the nextgen design that the AMD team has to get used to. The inexperience at making the new design costing them dearly. Remember there are 8.5 million transitors and it only take one flaw to scrap a chip. Also im sure they are working around the clock to solve the problem. The chips that do meet the mustard are sold out. Hopfully the AMD team will come up with a brakthrough.

To Brian, Petz, greg, Ali, et al. Look at the last few responses from
those other guys. They seem to be really upset. As soon as iNTEL
crunches we should have them on the run.
