If BPI is ever approved ...would it not be given at almost the same time as an antibiotic?

This is one of the most IMO exciting things about BPI, i.e. when given with an antibiotic (antibiotic adjuvant) it can increase the effectiveness of the antibiotic. It thus makes existing antibiotics more effective. To my mind this is the real gold mine. If every dose of antibiotics includes a dose of BPI, then XOMA could do very well.
