Steve, Requirements? Windows and c-d rom. He will be starting high school next year and wants one. I can afford it, so I'll buy him one. I was going to wait until next summer, but he has decided to attend a scientific technical school called Minute Man in Lexington Ma, about 20 miles from where we live. There science dept is supported by U-Mass Med School and they give great equipment to school. I must admit he's always liked science and the school he attends thought he should take the entrance exam. In order to be considered you had to maintain atleast a B average thru 6-8 and be recommended by the school you attend. The funny thing is math is his worst subject? He never scores better than B? He saw a laptop in popular science he liked $7,000. I said a Corporate Exec needs that not you. Steve, I've said this before, "I'm a loyalist to CPQ because I own the stock and my two children too." I don't want them to buy stock in companies they do not like the products they sell. Anyways, thanks for asking and any additional thoughts on specific needs would be appreciated. Ken
