"Mine is either AQ or OWS."

Mine is either plan parenthood (to get that phillie abortion doctor off the news)

or the Obama administration to try to divide this country even more and take our guns away. The same reason I think the obama admin is behind the sandy hook shootings.

the ends justify the means, comrade

There is nothing wrong with speculating if that is what someone wants to do. All I'm trying to point out is that if you do speculate, why not reference the data?

I see the following:

The majority of indictments for would be bombers in the USA in recent (i.e. relevant but that seem well beyond some peoples grasp) history have been right wing.
This happened in Boston on April the 15'th. There is symbolism there for the right wing.

It happened on a very well known international event, the Boston Marathon. I'd guess that points to AQ, but it might be about neutral for some other groups, and I suspect negative for left wing.

So if someone speculates that it might be a right wingnut, they are at least doing so with the bulk of the available data supporting them. They are thus not idiots. If they say they suspect AQ, that also clearly has some supporting data. If they say they think its a left-wing nut or enviro nut, there is very little supporting data.
