the trouble w/ silver is that it is a byproduct of many types of mines, and its 'cost' from such operations is simply zero, with its value accounted for as a credit against the cost of the primary mining activity

to get at ~800k of gold we shall btw produce ~30m oz of silver, and that silver has attributable cost of zero on the books Message 28842211
