Curious what percentage of American's would be considered hard core right wing today? I hear only 10% are bleeding heart true liberal?

I know a lot more right wingers than pure liberals... maybe 5 to 1. But that could a regional thing. Most people I rub shoulders with don't seem to think about politics much at all. For many I think it's their "least favorite thing" to talk about.

Must be a poll somewhere?

20% are liberal and 5% are very liberal.
