Great charmer is often just a false front.

There are certain traits that are a part of Narcissism.

1) Such people have an unquenchable desire to control everyone, and everything. They are manipulators.

1) First the great Charm: The person has the ability to display way more charm than most.

2) But then the Ugly: If charm doesn't accomplish the desired result, then ugly turns on, and the person is
capable of going quickly from great charm to very ugly. Their eyes are often as cold as the eyes of a shark.

3) There is very little, if any, genuine personality, very little of anything between the charm and the ugly.

4) They have a vivid imagination, and have the ability to fabricate fantastic, but believable stories.

5) Truth is irrelevant, control is all that matters, and the person eventually is no longer able to separate fact from fiction.

6) They need constant reinforcement, and that is accomplished by surrounding themselves with supporters who believe their very effective propaganda.

7) Such people often crave positions of power and authority.
