Systemic collapse is possible but very unlikely, IMO. Even if it happens, the USA has a huge competitive advantage versus most other countries and specifically versus Asia and Europe, because of its geographic isolation and its domestic resources per capita.

If push comes to shove, the USA can isolate itself from the world and enjoy a pretty decent standard of living.

to much in gold.....30%.....I wouldn't do more than 10%, you should consider reallocating.
