With financial assets it is all about the yield curve and oil prices... Gold is a wild card. Sort of like your brother in law with a short fuse...No telling how he will react<g> One day the real economy will be booming again on main street while wall street also suffers? For now the real estate recovery also tied to Ben's money printing orgy in the same manner as WS? How this evolves over time will be quite interesting. I can see 50-100% appreciation in many cheap beaten down markets across the country if current trends continue in coming years. This won't work long term without an expanding growing middle class.
