The gun was quite loaded, with a clip, and I would have used it if I thought it would have been effective against someone who threatened me with bodily harm. These are split second decisions, and I have never had to make that kind of choice with a gun. I do not think I would have used it on an unarmed robber, because money is not that important to me, except to shoo him off the premises. Then the question really arises as to what the gun was for, and since I was very much younger then I don't think I was thinking things through to the extent I do now, and cannot answer very effectively.

Daisy Annabelle reminds me of an adorable little girl frolicking in a mountain meadow, with braided pigtails or something. It is NOT the kind of a name that a woman can wear gracefully as she ages in my opinion, and so I would not really have used it. What would you have named a girl, if your son had been one?

You didn't really answer my question about what you would name a girl, Del. My feelings are terribly hurt, since I think the names people choose for their children actually reveal a lot about them.

At least we agree about football!!! In fact, I would carry it further and state that the American passion for football, like guns, is representative of a very primitive evolutionary state. And I would bet that the very most conservatively religious states are where you will find the preponderance of guns, and football.
