Laron,

Not sure about MAUI, but on OAHU Sunset Beach is the place to be. I tell you what, I have a Shipmate of mine who is taking his wife to Maui for the weekend, so I will find out and let you know on Monday Evening after I get home from work.

ALOHA,

Laron, There are nice waves all over Maui. Northern shores of all the islands have the bigger waves in the winter. The southern sides of the islands are desert like and the northern sides are the green, rain forest lands. If you go to Maui, rent a car and take the road to Hana
and see a real rain forest. Stop on the way and hike a ways in.
It will be something you will remember the rest of your life.
Check out the 7 sacred pools if you drive far enough.
also, if you go to the top of Mt. Haliakala (sp) you can see clouds being born. It's one of the Seven Wonders of the World...

Have Fun!

Kevin G
