Hi Instock,

You're new thread would be ... ?

I hope you will still post on the attitude threads. This is a great "one-stop-posting" place to see what's going on.

Regards,
Chris

Scott,

It is with great sadness that I read your message. I read the bosct
thread quickly and could interpret Ben's comments two ways.
One , griping or two, trying to start a positive discussion. Before
posting perhaps we ought to be sure that no one can misinterpret
the intent of the message.

This time of year with all the Holidays is a busy time. The stock market also marches to the beat of different drummers; tax loss
selling, year end rallies, etc.

Best of luck to you, however please come back after a well deserved
rest. I have never understood how the DIS team ever found the
time to do what you do week after week. Maybe week after week
is too often?

Tom

SORRY, NO QUITTING POSSIBLE. THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE THE PURPLE AND BLUE UNDERLINE.

Scott:

Lighten the #uck up, dude. You're absolutely essential, and everyone knows that. If you go to a different thread, we'll just follow. The a$$holes as well as your friends. You can't get away in cyberspace.
As we've learned from a particularly noisome poster on another thread: Every serious SIer, and 56er in particular, must learn to master one particular button. It's called NEXT.

Ivan

PS: Maybe the message of all this is that Pick of the Week, though it makes for a neat acronym, is an arbitrary and perhaps over-frequent appearance/necessity/burden. As an investor, I have to pass on 9/10ths of them (I don't have enough $ to make an investment worthwhile in any more than that); as analysts, there's really no way you guys are going to be able to maintain the percentages you have so far. In any case, I know for sure I'd rather see a POF (fortnight) or POMonth, or even the BMP (the BiMonthlyPick) than see push come to this kind of shove.
Gotta bend, so you don't break.

Scott,
I am primarily a lurker trying to learn TA. I post infrequently. Just wanted to let you know that I have always respected your opinion and value the information you have gathered.

I really hate to see you leave the DIS team. I think you played a significant part. Don't listen to people that don't do their own DD and then place the blame on others. I think you should visit the RECY thread and talk to some happy campers. Posters there are making big money - I myself am ahead $7,000 and some others are doing much better than that. I also bought ATPX and am still holding - think I will make a profit there to - someday.

Point is you have done great work. I for one will miss your great comments. The DIS team leads investors to great stocks. It is up to the individual to do their own DD and make their own decisions and take responsibility for their own actions.

Hope you will reconsider and stay with the team!!!

Dennis

Instock/Scott

I understand your feelings and can relate to being a hero one minute and a bum the next (in another life).

The final discision is your's of course, but it would be very sad to have the DIS team break up. One can not be right all of the time, even the public. Famous stock pick folks are correct only 40 percent.

I've always been just a little player in this thing Scott, have had a lot of fun and made a little money on the way, and feel that I've made some friends too. That is very important to me, and I thank you.

Good Luck and good trading

Ken W

In,

I am mostly lurker and at times requester (of info) and I have made and lost money on POWs and other stocks. In all situations, I have
felt that DIS has and been doing a wonderful job. I thank you for
being so helpful to me (and others) when I have done nothing to be useful to youin return.
To be honest, my expertise does not lie either in FA or in TA and therefore I look forward to the suggestions of folks like you to
provide starting point. It is exactly that. POWs are shortlist from
the whole set of stocks (at least for me).

I am beginning to think that you are frustrated by comments by some who have possibly lost money in some of the POWs. All I am asking you is to ignore them and come back to folks like me and help us. Of course you are a free man to make you decision, but may I request that
you think this over when you are calm (no, I am not implying anything
negative about your emotions here - just trying very hard to change
your mind)

Hope you will be here and other related threads and help folks who
understand and appreciate the level of effort you put in for absolutely nothing in return.

Thanks and Regards
Ramesh

Instock Is Indispensable...

>>>To all: I have decided that I do not want to be a member of the DIS Team anymore. This is not with out major sadness on my part! Doug has been a GREAT help to me in many ways!! I have learned MUCH from Doug and Thank Doug MUCH. Doug has spent MANY long hours doing what he does best, and is a true pro.<<<

Scott:

You are too valuable to lose...

Your resignation is not accepted... : >

You, Doug, and Sergio, as well as other members of the DIS team have done a thankless job of spoonfeeding info to sometimes ungrateful recipients... They are in the minority... The majority of 56r's very much appreciate all your efforts...

The Three Musketeers cannot be broken up...

So... In a nutshell...

Thank you, and stay.... : >

OK all lurkers...time to make a post.

Thanks for everything Scott. I am "instocks" partly because of you. I made some money off the efforts of the DIS team. And I am not at all ashamed to say I don't really have a clue what a company balance sheet even looks like. I couldn't pick a good stock if it hit me in the face. And I think there are a lot of us who frequent these threads who have gone ahead and made an investment based soley on the posting of a POW with the intention of making a quick $ on the gap up.

DIS was not intented to be that...I know this now and am comfortable with it. Look at all the stocks out there!!! The DIS team narrows them down to give us novices a fighting chance to focus in on one and do some digging for ourselves. I couldn't imagine trying to do that on my own.

For me, if INSTOCK stays and the DIS teams stays together I'll be glad. If it retires then so be it. I am SURE that Doug, Sergio and Scott will spin off more excellent threads like the ones we have been enjoying and profiting from for months.

AGAIN A HEARTY THANK YOU, SCOTT, SERGIO AND DOUG.

Enough.......Happy Holiday's all
Mike

Scott -

I hope you will change your mind about leaving the team.ÿ I am learning a lot from you, and I need to learn a lot more.ÿ Your timing never ceases to amaze me, and provides an example of when to buy and when to sell some POW stocks for short-term gains.ÿ My timing is bad. When I give up hope, you're buying my shares!

It is important to me that a POW isn't only a great chart and numbers.ÿ It's important to me that YOU have researched it and liked it.ÿ I value your judgement highly.
