Just put VALE on my watch list. GE getting whacked a bit, not complaining it's getting nearer to reinvestment time.

VALE @14.XX$ is trading for tangible book finally. Unless iron ore demand tanks totally, the company should be worth way more than that. Together with BHP and some RIO mines, they should have the lowest production costs worldwide and the falling Real should help some as well.

VALE recently sold a 25% if their gold output in a royal deal to SLW, I don't think that these precious metal operations are reflected in the stock price at all. I don't own it yet, but this is very tempting. VALE does probably require some patience (same as AAUKY) but this should work out at current prices.
