not to assume everyone who is foreign is out to get us
Of course not but a good profile has emerged and should be used without all the stupid racism accusations.

I've already heard the Uncle's interview. Good for him. I feel sorry for him and all the people who are feeling disgraced and betrayed by this act and who will now have to deal with the distrust that is bound to result. There will also be an exacerbation of base bigotry that some feed on. So, that is what we have been dealt and it benefits no one to dismiss this as meaningless. The bombers are the only ones who are responsible for their actions but the circumstances are bound to cause some disorientation and chaos, suspicion, and distrust which is what terrorism intends. We don't want them to succeed but we don't want to be stupid and pretend it is insignificant either. IEDs are in America now, and a culture of people who see that as an option may be influenced by this and by the radical influences that encourage it. Sometimes the truth sucks but it does no good to ignore it.
