well now that the facts are out, it's pretty obvious that the older brother definitely had gotten himself radicalized in a jihad fashion, somewhere in Russia... but when it comes to religions the muslims certainly do not have a patent on hate and stupidity... how many Americans, including senior military and politicians promoted and cheered on the invasion of Iraq as a "christian crusade" in which thousands upon thousands of innocent Iraqis lost their lives and millions had to flee the country... not to mention the thousands of dead and maimed American soldiers... i'm still amazed we haven't had more blowback terrorist attacks from that fiasco... of course Bush made it easy for them, they didn't have to come here, Bush & Co sent thousands of Americans to Iraq to be moving targets for radicals, and of course without body armor because "you go to war with the military you have"... and now we have Lindsey fucking Graham wanting to capture and torture the 19 year old to get more info... I thought we were supposed to be the "civilized" society??

One of the brothers was extremely religious. You think they weren't in touch with Muslims back in Chechnya? We're going to find out that the religious brother most certainly was put in touch with a terrorist cell. This wasn't planned by two amateur American would-be terrorists. This was planned and organized by professionals using these two kids as their convenient front. We are finding out he was religious and then he wasn't. We are finding out that he had been in this country 11 years and had not made one American friend. We are finding out he dropped out of school and was watching his baby while his wife worked. We are finding out his parents went back to Russia leaving their kids in the US. Why do all of you wish so badly that it wasn't Al Qaeda? It is what it is. Let's deal with it straight up. The politically correct bullshit is what stops us from confronting reality. Huh? None of us are willing to make ass-umptions and jump to conclusions like you are. That's all. And get this...I'm not advocating a Bush approach of going on a war spree. Rather, we need to accept the reality that we have pissed off a lot of volatile Middle Easterner with all of our Dictator propping, oil securing activities over there. It's time to become energy independent and stop all the wars. We need to disengage from the Middle East period. They don't like us and we need to get out of their business. But we need to recognize that these were MUSLIM terrorists, not white American terrorists. Sadly we have both American and Muslim terrorists.........and some Christian ones too. What's your point. Otherwise, we won't get the response right. I think we got the response very right.
