That's why the housing recovery is so important. It CAN be the fuel to revive the economy, but there are so many other deflationary headwinds that I don't think the housing recovery is going to be enough to get us back above stall speed.

The prime deflationary headwind right now is Europe........which is practicing austerity as you would like and not doing very well because of it.

I thought you were always saying inflation in goods and services working people need was the problem? The fact we are barely growing even with zero rates and such stimulus on multiple fronts tells me something. And that is Bernanke is right and the GOP needs to change it's playbook cause Ben can't hold things up forever..
