More than 100 passengers were evacuated from South Station bus terminal around 11 a.m. and told to “run in the other direction,” according to witnesses.

Just for fun, imagine an FBI sting operation where the FBI had enticed a couple of Chechan brothers with hate rhetoric, tactical support, and encourage in the hopes of making a dramatic arrest and playing the heros at the Boston Marathon. But then imagine the FBI's surprise when the bad bombs plans or bad materials or bad bombs where fixed by a couple of clever brothers who thought that their compadre had made an honest mistake. And then the bombs actually went off.

Or imagine some organization, like say Homeland Security, trying to take more power from the FBI so they set them up to look stupid at the Boston Marathon by feeding them just enough bad information that they make a big presence at the Marathon but not enough information to actually stop the bombing.

So many possibilities...
