Yes, gold has always been [since this iteration of our planet anyway] and pixelated processes never have.

On a shorter time scale, donkeys have always been and Mack trucks are a recent invention. But betting on donkeys to move things during the 20th century was not a good bet [even if they were towing big barges].

Gold bugs and Gaian Goldsters are going to learn about history in due course, up close and personal. Pixelated people are also going to experience the future in the here and now.

There will be lessons learned. Most of them painful as there is an infinite number of ways to do things fatally wrong and a more limited number of ways of doing things right.
