I missed this, but if you subtract the number of shares held by Chief Yahoo! Filo and Chief Yahoo! Yang and Softbank and Sequoia Capital plus a few M more held by other institutions, the number should be well below 10M.

Being somewhat unexperienced at how the institutions handle their shares, I am interested in other opinions on computing the float.

How do you get 6.5 million?

I pulled it quickly from Yahoo's profile to contrast the short Interest Peter previously posted. Without putting a pencil to it, it seems that the float of 22MM is impoossible considering the Sequoia, Softbank, founder, and management interests.
