i think we are currently in a territory that an ibm, seagate or quantum may look to consolidate the industry further and make a play for western. market cap is down to 1.8 billion!?cant see them staying independent especially in light of the huge consolidation of the last 5 years. hey, doesnt anybody need hard drives anymore?of course they do. this is a 2 quarter supply malaise at best before things return to normal. remember demand is fine. how could the fund managers bid this up to 54 only several months ago to crush it at the first sign of bad news. this is a well run company that has generally done most things right. i will buy every 2 weeks for the next 2 months and average in. give it 2 years and well make new highs. good luck to all.
