I think you misinterpreted my comment. I think the people care and are just misguided.; the federal government as a collection doesn't give a shit. The bureaucracy is so big it is impossible to get to anyone who actually gives a damn.

You simply don't know what you're talking about. I know nothing about your personal situation, but it is highly doubtful it will "improve". But that certainly isn't the proper metric. The question is whether, overall, the health care system will be better or worse. It is clearly worse already and getting worse by the day. And I really can't find any knowledgeable person who disputes that.

Even Baucus has now admitted it is a "train wreck" and HE wrote the legislation ("admitted" may be the wrong term, he was trying to pass the buck to Obama).

Well, we aren't selling many medical systems, but I don't view it as "getting screwed". The opportunities to capitalize on government screw ups are endless and we're doing well as a result.
