Now, that is a very good question... maybe my buying it today put the top in place... LOL!!!

Granted, it's a very risky trade and my model is short gold from 1601.90 on April 1st, so I have no real business buying it today against my model... but still, I think overall,I think we could see a further rally... if not, then I'm wrong...

That's not really much of a good explanation, but just a gut sense that today was the day to buy the pull back... hmmm, maybe I'll just dump them now... LOL!!!

Okay, a quick follow up on your gold question...

I just dumped my long gold and silver positions in the evening session, thanks for asking me... I must have been delirious when I bought them... LOL!!!

Okay, I'm back from running a quick errand... let me give you a much better answer to why i bought the gold today, and then why I decided to dump after you asked me your question...

Earlier, I looked at the GLD chart and it actually looked positive for tomorrow... then, after reading your question, I looked at the actual gold futures chart and it had a very different picture, it looked much weaker... so, I thought I may as well just dump it and not risk it, there's certainly no reason to hold something when I don't feel completely comfortable with it... I hope this is a better explanation, now that I have more time to post...

It looks like gold is moving higher anyhow... but, no biggie, there's no reason to take a risky position without a clear signal...

Gold hasn't broken down overnight, so I'm long again this morning...
