3DFX does look intriguing, does it not? It appears their Voodoo technology is fast becoming a standard and the competition is playing catch-up. Since it's a relatively new company (IPO back in June) management has no track record, and so yesteday's annoucement must be taken with a grain of salt. As far as the relationship with CREAF goes, CREAF will benefit if the demand for Voodoo technology is as hot as cracked up to be. In that case it will be up to CREAF to package a good product that the big boys (Compaq, Dell, Gateway, etc.) will take an interest in.
