It is not about the stock price, which will be higher in the future.

Dividend growth investing is about increase in income.

I am almost 62 now, and have made oodles of money in Apple.

In fact, the profits from those successful Apple years have funded the dividend growth portfolio, and that is providing a nice income stream. All dividends are being reinvested now, and probably will be for the next two years - a reliable, predictable and growing income stream to supplement pensions and social security.

Apple will return more cash to me per share this year than I spent per share in April, 2003.

It is a nice life <wink>
