Charlotte,

Yes, my dog helps me - lies on my feet, mostly, when I'm at the computer. She tried taking typing lessons, but gave it up. Could only get up to 10 or 15 words a minute, her nose would get sore picking the keys, and the instructor got upset at the damp keyboard. She's taken up oil paints as a pastime, now. Surrealism, I think.
