I'm currently on the sidelines with this stock as well. I haven't been very active on this board, but have remained fairly active on a number of stocks which I was no longer on either side of the fence. The reasons I continue to follow the stock is because if they turn out to have what they've been claiming, it should start to become apparent with their quarterly earnings, conference calls, and press releases. If they have what they've been claiming for years, there will be plenty of time to get involved & make good money without risking losing everything. I don't think fonix is an outright scam, although many of the comments from the officers seem awfully hypeish at times. Also, since Studdart (sp?) used the market cap. to justify his huge salary, has he taken a big cut in salary since the stock has tanked? Not a very serious question, but it would be interesting to watch him squirm if it were asked at a conference call :-) On the positive side, the Seimens announcement was the type of third party validation this company is very definitely in need of. I would like to see/hear more about the specifics, but anyway you cut it, its a positive. The big debate seems to be how positive it is. Most of us on the sidelines would rather see fonix succeed instead of fail, since its on our radar screen & we feel like if it starts to go, we will be in before the market notices.
