I believe their statements speak for themselves and perhaps you would do well to closely reexamine the quotes she provided. But it is highly unlikely that the nation's teetering on the brink of bankruptcy would cause them to change their minds in the direction you have suggested.

If anything, these people would be astonished at the high standards of living the poorest among us have today. They would undoubtedly recognize that the pooling of wealth among the most wealthy had influenced the poor in the most favorable ways conceivable.
