Slightly off topic - AT&T also has dealt with Yurie Systems' (YURI) ATMs - had an exclusive contract to sell Yurie products to Federal Government

<< They have not, however, mentioned which vendor they will be purchasing
their equipment from. >>

They already started purchases from us THIS quarter. What does that tell you?

Buy Asnd for its CSCC?

As I recall the size of Cscc (market cap and/or sales) was small
compared to the pre-merger asnd. If such a figure is really offered
I would certainly want $40 cash, not stock. If stock I'd immediately sell ITM calls. As to Livingston acquisition conflicting, it doesn't because there line is the low end small business - 3com competition. LU's ability to overpay is demonstrated in the Livingston deal, so we may as well ask for $50 - why not.
