Just to add a not so little point...

IHub is likely not as interested in recovering legal fees as much as they are interested in establishing legal precedence, which is worth its weight in gold. If they can recover any monies from the other party, great... But the real prize is legal precedence. They will have "set the bar" very high for any future lawsuits against them that some other attorney might file. In other words, potential litigants will think more than just twice before filing one of these "$128 to file" lawsuits, which almost always get dropped after costing someone hundreds of dollars in filing fees and thousands of dollars in legal fees, just to prepare a defense that will never see the light of day. After a number of recent lawsuits, IHub is likely sick of litigation and is taking the opportunity to be proactive rather than reactive against an opponent that finds himself in a much weaker legal position.. We shall see what happens...

EK!!!

PS - For old timers around these threads, we can remember the days when an SI poster found himself in the position of defending a $1M defamation lawsuit against a plaintiff that sued him (and others) knowing that the defendant(s) could ill afford a costly lawsuit and would likely concede the case, which had the effect of (temporarily) establishing legal precedence (which was the goal of said legal maneuvers). The defendant lost $1M, which was, to the best of my knowledge, never paid, though some concessions were made in the ultimate settlement of that litigation. Ancient history now, as the defendant no longer posts on SI, and the plaintiff is deceased (I think).
