We have a burning need to grasp and defend the rights and freedoms that underpin the core values of the American political system and way of life -- but in Boston the issue was crystal clear -- public safety. The response and the future course of responses to this kind of threat and event and all the attending issues related to them absolutely need to be aired and debated, but you have ventured into lunatic fringe territory when you make just plain stupid assertions like the one above.
