In my town we have only public schools and my kids and most of their friends went on to the the best universities the world from there.

My kids went to UC Berkeley U of Oregon (science) and Loyola law. From public schools.

And in my town it is the conservative kids who have most of the drug problems.

You apparently haven't been near a Catholic school in the past 20-30 years. Many students are not Catholic, and there is little religious indoctrination.


The Catholic school where my son goes to school has a 40% jewish population.
