It all makes me sick. We liberals have spent our lives fighting for the poor and to watch Obama be such a-----! I finally got a little poetic justice for myself the other night. Our town was run by crazy people for a long time and the poor are suffering big time. Being an old guy, and pretty fearless these days, I spent two weeks writing a scathing white paper on our planning department. It was tight (over a dozen drafts) and I made sure all my facts were solid. I presented it to our planning department and got unanimous enthusiastic approval and the assembly members are circulating it. It was like everyone was waiting for some kid to say the emperor had no clothes and explain why the kid thought that. I was really surprised at the support. I expected a fight. Maybe first time in my life I won one-lol.
