"many say it was really WWII that got us out of the Depression." Many have been saying since about 2005 that we need a WW2 on energy. Many now say we need a WW2 on carbon. No need to fight WW4, since both have many solutions in common. "Krugman believes we can solve this one with a party." No; by fixing bridges, re-enforcing seawalls and levees, filling potholes, hiring public servants instead of firing them, insulating buildings, mass transit, electric rail; you know the drill. He still hasn't got resource limitations figured out; needs some work in biophysical economics. "you want to push the economy more?" We gotta do it to the rest of the world B4 they go out and do it to us. After we've done it, we can pay off the debt and still have enuf left to party.
