I think it is mostly metrosexual men who are terrified of offending women who are behind this move to expunge the word "man" from the lexicon.

I don't know any women of ANY age that is offended by a word with "men" in it, as in Chairman....The few "Hippie types left over from the 70's" are the ones who make a fuss.....
