Sold my December 25 calls for a nice profit.
May buy the stock if it dips enough, even if the takeover goes through I am not sure I want to hold the buyer's stock.
Actually, if ASND's problems have been taken care of and their house is in order, they may be able to do well by themselves in the coming Quarters as compared to be taken over because it is hard to predict how the merged company will operate.
With the takeover sword hanging over ASND, ASND is no longer an investment stock until such time the takeover news is cleared out, it will necessarily remain a speculative stock even for those who had bought it with the intention of making a long term investment.
In fact, the most bullish folks on ASND who have held it through thick and the thin should now be concerned that their future for the near term is based on speculation and for the long term on the fundamentals of some other company in which they did not invest in the first place if the deal goes through.
