tek, indexes are charging ahead. But take a look at this:
cbs.marketwatch.com

NH, NL on NYSE are almost equal (NL are slightly more.) Of course, on NAZ NLs are far more than NHs. Don't jump in to selling your puts too soon. I think the indexes are being manipulated. If NHs improve by about 2 PM, then make a decision about selling your puts/shorts.

IMO for today to finish this way its too psychologically rewarding for bulls and damaging for bears. Kind of sets the tone for the rest of December. Id wait till the end of the day before jumping either way. I personally got out of my longer term shorts a few days ago on some weakness when I saw I was standing in front of a train. Just daytrading riding some coatails now. Makes for better sleeping if nothing else! Good Luck

Hi tekgk, you may be capitulating to a trap if you sell today. I've done this myself one too many times. This could be a trap for bulls and bears, hold till Monday, I think you will be rewarded. This is a replay of the early August bond reversal and we are entering into earnings warning season at a highly overbought condition and sitting butt up against resistance bands. Go back and read some of GZ's recent posts.

tek, bonds recovered half of the loss from the day's trough. The bulls will view it as great news! More buying is in order or what! BTW, not a day goes by without an upgrade from a brokerage house. Yes, this is nuts!
