Canyon Lakes Golf Course near Kennewick used to be one of my favorite courses. Haven't played there in about 30 years, though. I worked at Hanford one summer when I was still in college, so I got to know the area a bit. I'd spend the week in Richland, then drive back down the Gorge to home near Portland for the weekend. I tired after awhile of the freeway, then took the scenic route on the Oregon side, then later took the road on the Washington side. All of it was beautiful. Also remember picking up some melons near Hermiston, and U-Picking delicious peaches somewhere near Tri-cities.
